Convertible Oil for the motor pump
I have a 99 camaro convertible, I just replaced the pump motor for the convertible top. And I was wondering if someone can help me. I would like to know what kind of oil the pump uses??
I went to the dealership and they told me it uses Tranny oil, but the little oil the pump had left was kind of yellow. Please somebody help me.

Black- 1998 Trans Am WS6 'Vert
GM initially recommended Dextron III, but later changed it to mineral oil. Check for it in a pharmacy under "laxitives".
