Hey everyone, I need to get back behind the wheel of a LS1 SOON!! Here's my wish list:

98-02
Trans Am or SS Camaro (no Z28's) WS6 a definite plus
6 spd
less than 90k miles (the fewer, the better)
looking to spend $10-12k
must have T-tops
No aftermarket engines
Not willing to drive more than 500 miles (I live in Abilene, TX)

If your car doesn't meet at least the above requirements I'm not interested.

I have a 98 ws6 M6 with a stock internal LS6 for sale in your price range. 86k miles but only 36k on the new motor. Its not aftermarket its straight out of a 2003 Z06. If you are interested please give me a call. I am a little far from you but I would trust driving this car across country anyday and get 23mpgs the whole way.Fly out and drive back. call me, I am looking to sell this weekend or very shortly at least. Just an FYI, look into the ebay buy back. Also, only cost about $500 to ship a car insured.

Well, I went looking yesterday for 12 HOURS. Looking helped me figure out what I did and didn't want Here's what I came up with:

MUST's:
WS6
75k miles or less
6-spd
Clean title in hand
Prefer black but will settle for other colors but NO RED's
No heavily modded cars

That's about it. If anyone has anything or sees anything let me know.

Just throwing this out there, have you looked into the difference between a WS6 and none?

Wheels
Stiffer Suspension
Ram Air with raised box
Power steering cooler, I think all 02's have it though

I would also suggest looking into a Firehawk, if it's going to be a weekend car and something your going to keep the miles off. Even an NHRA, for collection reasons. Just throwing it out there.
