WTB: 98-02 LS1 FBody

Looking for a 1998-2002 LS1 Fbody. I am within weeks from finishing a deployment in Afghanistan and have been planning on dumping my v6 and getting a LS1 Fbody for a while, and now is about time for me to start shopping for what i want.

Looking to spend around 12,000$, but will negotiate up and down. I am stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and my home is in Dayton Ohio. But for the right car i will drive around pretty much anywhere on the East coast to get it (or delivery if possible, details can be worked out).

looking for;

-Not a Vert
-6 speed
-Low orig. miles
-DD
-CLEAN, i am crazy about how clean i am about everything, so hopefully the previous owner is too
-Clean record, paint, body and interior

I am a serious buyer with a clean record. Like i said i wont even be in the states for a few weeks but once i do get in this will be one of my priorities.

i have black 2000 camaro coupe 6spd with about 64k miles.... cloth interior ... cold air kit... k/n filter, slp lid other parts i havent had a chance to install yet... ls6 intake w/cooing pipes, pace setter headers, hypertech thermostat, TSP rumbler exhaust with high flow cats.....msg me if interested, few pics in profile...

6 speed
53,000 miles
Red
Cloth interior
4.10 rear gear
5 spoke SS style rims
Good year eagle tires (about 80% tread left)
SS style hood

Very good condition. Looks great inside and out. Engine and trans have been rebuilt, new clutch. After 50K miles it was making the typical LS1 piston slap noise at start up. So, it was torn down and freshened up. Trans was also gone through.
Runs great.

I was planning to list it for $10,500 OBO.

Located in Crown Point, IN (just southeast of Chicago)

Well, it has been a while and i am back in NC... did alot of looking around at not just LS1's... and found another car.

2006 VW GTI, 6 speed 2 door. It has low miles, good price and is fun and functional. I will still be looking around on the forums... but goodbye to the ls1 world.... hehe
