Wtb 2002 Low Mileage Ws6 Trans Am!!!

I am looking for 2002 trans am with no modifications or very little modifications.

I am looking for a car with less than 35,000 miles.

I dont mind if it has minor modifications like; fuel pumps, injectors, Intake manifolds, valve springs, clutch, rear end, and drivelines.

I just dont want highly modified vehicles that have had too many visits to the track, or something that I cant use as a daily driver.

I am hoping to find the Navy Blue, or Orange color, but I will consider others as well.

!!!!MUST BE A MANUAL 6 SPEED!!!!

I have a 2002 NBM WS6 M6 T-Top with 1,500 miles on the clock. Car has only been washed once and sits under a Pontiac "Trans Am" car cover in my climate controlled garage... I have all paperwork with many extras. I bought the car strictly as a collectible... I would let it go for $25k firm.

Well when I say low mileage, I am looking for somewhere in the few hundred to 35,000 range.

I have cash in hand, and I am looking for a good price just as anyone would. Dont get me wrong I will pay what a car is worth. Just not looking to buy from anyone who thinks their 6 year old $18000 car is worth more than what it is...

Wow I had to look and see what the KBB was on you 2002 with 1500mi and was shocked to see it was worth $18935, that sounds like a load of crap.

it is crap. $25k might be full price but I have seen a couple with 3,xxx miles go for the same within the last 6 months... Try to find another 1,500 mile virgin WS6 M6 let alone a NBM car.

I am thinking about picking up another car and if I do I may post this one for $23k just to move it fast so my wife doesn't kill me. Hell,tThe tires still have the little titties...

Well I know they are getting rarer every day, but they are not collectors items yet. They are still in their depreciation. Think about it, original Cobras, Corvettes, and other badass cars didnt start to gain value again until they reached the 20+ year mark.

I understand how everyone wants 20 to 30k+ for these cars but its just not that time for these cars yet. They are not vintage they are only going to be 6 years old this coming year. I have found at least 10 of the NBM cars, 7 SOM cars, 20 or more Black, 15 White, 20+ collectors edition, and 30+ of other colors all for sale around 20,000 to 30,000 or less miles so please do not try to tell me that these cars are super rare.

I am looking for a car I can use as a daily driver, I want something under 30,000 miles and I am not willing to spend a hell of a lot more than what the "books" and my bank says it is worth.

I have cash in hand for what KBB says that they are worth in Excellent condition, I will need to take a loan for any additional amount.

Thanks for listing your cars guys keep them coming.

FWIW, I paid $26k for the car with 900 miles on the clock last March. If you are a KBB shopper, you will find average cars for average prices. I knew when I bought the car that KBB wasn't going to serve as my shopping Bible. Go round up a a few bone stock WS6 cars with under 2,000 miles and see if they are priced any where near what KBB says they are worth. It won't happen because KBB is for average people who want to know the average value of the average cars they are interested in buying... Just my $0.02 though.

Seriously, if you find a WS6 M6 with 1,500 miles for $18k, let me know and I will buy it to resell in the Spring for a little extra cash.

You may as well surrender your wallets and all your assets to the stealerships if you guys are willing to pay more than $2k over KBB or NADA

I am not a collector and any car I buy will become a DD.

The collectors edition is not very rare at all let alone a regular TA WS6, the Firehawks, Formulas, Year Ones... are the rare cars.

I am not saying I will not pay over KBB or NADA, but I am not going to pay out of my ears just to get a WS6.

I hear you man...you are either a bargain shopper or you have to finance the full purchase price which means you are going to be a "slave to the lender". Banks use KBB and such to determine how much they will let you borrow and still allow you to use the vehicle as collateral. Either way, you should just try to find the cleanest low mileage WS6 you can get your bank to lend full amount for ($18k and I am guessing you will end up with 40k miles at best). Probably not a good idea to keep going after cars that have little to zero miles on them and using something like KBB as your negotiating tool... Just trying to help you out. Not to sound arrogant but cars like mine are in a different league and attract a totally different kind of buyer. Good luck and post back what you buy with some pics.

Well honestly I dont need a new TA, I have a perfectly good 2002 Z28 which I currently hit 60,000 miles in.

I have already purchased over $13000 in Twin Turbo parts to install on it. I just started thinking that if there was anytime for me to look into another car to install this kit onto now would be the time, basically so I could be installing onto a fresh motor and car.

I have already have $20,000 cash in hand, but that needs to get me a car pay for Shipping and all of the legalities and forms. I have too many items on my credit and cannot borrow anymore... believe me I've tried every financial institution around.

So if any of you have a low mileage TA WS6 that can go for about $19500 cash please let me know.

If I find one my little bro takes over my Camaro for what I owe, which is just $8200.

wait wait wait... you have a $13000 twin turbo setup... and the reson your looking for "this" car is because you want to put the kit on a "fresh" motor?

Are you kidding me... you get yourself the highest mileage decent bodied car you can find... if you have taht much in a TT kit surely you plan on putting forged internal with like 9:1 compression... and then your gonna need tranny work... and you might as well flush that 10 bolt downt the toilet... not to mention im sure you are gonna go in and redo all the suspension parts (so you might as well pay for shitty ones and not pristine ones)...

id be looking for me a 99 or 00 donar car for what you have in mind... But its not my money and im not the one that spent $13k to push 6 psi on a stock motor that will end up junk after 30k miles or so...

Well its not going to be a drag king or a garage queen, the car I'm going to get will be my new daily driver, so 4-8psi is just fine for me, I am not a racer, but I do slam the pedal here and there when I feel like.

I do plan on later doing a forged stroker, new driveline, and 9" rear, but I am on a low budget as it is and it is stretched to the limit as of this time.

    I'm in process of buying a 99 WS6 M6 with 1,900 miles on it for $17,000. I know it's not a 02 but I thought it was a good deal.
