    Question Looking For Advice...

I'm Looking At Getting Another F-body And I'm Debating Between Getting An 6-speed Ls1 Or An Lt1. I Like The Fact That You Can Pick Up An Lt1 Cheap, Still Looks Good And You Can Always Add Mods. But Is Getting An Ls1 Worth The Extra Money, Which Also Makes Parts More Expensive, And Is It Worth It In The Long Run, As Far As Performance Vs. Cost. Obviously Out Of The Box The Ls1 Is Superior But Cann't You Get Some Solid, Reliable Power Out Of An
Lt1 For A Lot Less? I Would Love To Hear Anyones Opinion. Thanks.

To answer your question I've had 3 friends that picked up LS1's in the past few months and they have said it is worth the money to get one. My other buddy who has a 94 Lt1 put about 8k into his motor making it stroked out to a 383 and fully built and the stock LS1's are just as fast.

Good Point And Thanks For The Input. Also The Ls1's Can Now Be Swapped For A New Ls2 Crate Pretty Easily From What I've Read, And That Motor Can Make Some Great Power.
