    FS/FT: 2000 Camaro SS - 408, 4L80e, 9", more MAKE

Not in any big hurry to get rid of the car, and I haven't even washed it yet to take pics. But here's an idea of what it is. There is NOTHING wrong with the car. I'm just getting ready to start a family and the wife and I agree that it makes no sense to leave such a nice, expensive car sitting in the garage when I could use the money on something more family-oriented, although she's fine with me trading it for a C5 or other sports car. I really think it's the whole fuel thing that is getting her, and I'm just fine with trying a different car. I'm not one of these guys who LOVES a car.

    Car details:
    - 2000 Camaro SS
    - Full weight (more than stock even), all accessories (Okay I left the A/C condenser out because I was lazy, but I kept the jack and spare tire in the car, as well as all seats). Will put condenser back in.
    - Home built 408 - Diamond pistons, Comp Star rods, HellFire rings, Livernois stg. 2 243 heads, LS6 intake (yup), Futral Motorsports custom cam (243/246)
***This motor has less than 1,000 miles on it.***
    - Pacesetter long tube headers w/DMH cutout in y-pipe
    - 4L80e, Yank PY3600 converter. Yes, overdrive and lockup. I get 18mpg on the highway. Around 14mpg city when driving sensibly.
***This tranny setup has less than 5,000 miles on it.***
    - built 9" rear w/Truetrac and 4.11 gear
***This rear has less than 5,000 miles on it.***
    - Weld Pro Star wheels (bigs n littles)
    - Mickey Thompson ET Street radials
    - Granatelli SFCs
    - UMI adjustable body-mounted torque arm
    - Lakewood cheap LCAs
    - UMI adjustable torque arm
    - el-cheapo Suspension Techniques rear sway bar
    - Harris Speed Works wet kit. 150hp shot. Haven't even sprayed a full bottle through it.
    - Rollmaster adjustable double roller timing chain.

    $17,500 obo

Video of the car doing what it does best. Keep in mind, the next day my wife drove it to the mall and back. I was getting phone calls, "Didn't I just see your wife driving your car? Your TEN SECOND car? And your wife can drive it? Sweet!" Darn right it's sweet. I honestly would drive this car any distance I want... if gasoline wasn't so expensive. The car is just simply an easy to drive car.

Here's what was said about the car on "the other LS1 board":

Let's put it this way, even if this was a roller I'd give at least $4000 to $4500 for it. Then you figure the fact that JUST the engine, tranny, and rear parts for this car are worth what he is asking for the whole thing. Then figure in all of the many many many hours of labor and tuning that were put into this car assuring that it was as bulletproof and economic as possible. He is throwing the car and probably all of the labor in for free and then some.

Adam is an anal person for real. We aren't even close friends really or anything and I'm not a kiss ass kind of person. I followed the entire build up (in person a lot of the time, not on the net) and just want to make sure this car is not misrepresented in anyway. He wanted a car that he could drive to the beach and back comfortably enough in and stop along the way and make some low 10 second passes (9's if he had a bigger set of nuts).

I think he pulled it off 100% and even though it might not be the absolute fastest LS1 I have ever seen it is without a doubt the best all around street and strip car I have seen period. You guys know what kind of cars come out of KY and most if not all of the guys will credit Adam with the best all around setup.

No bullshit when I say it would be in my driveway if I didn't already have one out here. Congratulations to whoever picks this car up and no need to bring a trailer.
