I am selling my car due to the fact that is is difficult for me to own a 6-speed since I messed up my ankle. I don't want to sell it, but I really need a car I can drive.

I am looking for someone to take over payments if possible. Otherwise, I need to get as much for it as possible. I guess we'll start off around $17,000. The car just hit 71,000 miles, but I have taken good care of it and it has mostly highway miles. It has black leather. I also have the 2002 wheels on it. The engine was rebuilt by GM at 55,000 miles due to the TSB on the rings.

What is tsb on the rings?

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

All 2001 LS1 motors used a smaller ring that was causing oil blow-by. It would cause the car to burn a quart of oil every 1,000 miles or less.

What are your payments and how much do you have left? the only thing i may not like is the color, but i have to see it in person. i actually think i saw you the other day... i drive the Eddie Bauer bronco white/tan w/ the top off of it.

Not that this matters.............but I owned an' 01 WS6 that was doing the same thing (using oil)..........but, once we took it to the drag strip and ran a few nice hard runs, it soon after stopped using oil.........the theory is, taking it to the track helped seat the rings.
