    98 white z28/6spd/bolt-ons/loaded...$7500

well ive found another car im looking to buy and this one needs to go...its a white 98 Z28 6 speed, leather, t-tops, factory ground effects...it just tripped 92k miles...interior is almost perfect, leather is in very good shape with only minimal driver side wear...paint looks good except for the front bumper/nose which just has chipping and scratching and the driver side door hinges need to be replaced...car runs very smooth with excellent oil pressure and runs very cool...only problem mechanically is the 3-4 syncronizer is going bad...If you shift normal it's fine and goes into gear like nothings wrong, but if you speed-shift it will grind going into gear...here a list of the mods and accessories:

JVC cd player with flip out controls
    JVC 6 disc cd changer
chrome 17x 9.5 zr1s with 275's front and rear with nitto drag radials in rear
    front and rear clear corners
    gloss black tail panel
    pacesetter coated long tubes
    pacesetter off road y-pipe
    no emissions (cats/egr/air)
02 sims and brand new bosch 13111 front o2s
    NGK TR-55/aftermarket wires
    Whisper lid with k&n filter
    ported mass air ends
hurst shifter with chrome stick/white ball

    NEW PRICE: $7500

Yeah, well if the synchro weren't going bad it might be worth 7k. But buying it for 4500, then fixing prolly 500$ worth of stuff, you can't make 3k off of that. And of course it has been hit before.

True, although with how many 6 speeds with around 100k on them with no synchros going bad for 7 and 8k I think he'll have to find a good sucker

ok lets get some things straight here...i bought the car bone stock for $5000 not $4500...ended up costing me around $6000 after i drove down, taxes etc to pick it up...again let me repeat the car was bone stock when i bought it...i installed longtubes, ypipe, hooker exhaust, whisper lid/k&n, ported ends, sims, new o2s, plugs, plug wires, hurst shifter, chrome zr1s with brand new drag radials, bought a new console since the one in it was cracked, bought a new apillar since the other one had a crack, installed a new headlight switch, fixed foglights, swapped a tail panel from one of my other cars, fixed the foglights as they were not working, and quite a few other things....i also have a spare door from one of my wrecked car with good hinges that would go with the car...so with that said i would appreciate it if you were not intrested in the car to stay out of the thread and keep you kind words to yourself...i have put alot of time and money in this car since the last time it was listed up...i know what the cars worth so you can take you bogus offers somewhere else...as far as finding another car for the same price with good synchros, my question is why havent you bought one yet???

i totally understand you job here and you do a good job at it...but my main point was i have more in the car than im asking and if your not intrested in purchasing or somewhat intrested in the car then you have no business posting...im on several different forums and most of them have rules if you not intrested stay out....but again no offense toward you at all 1fastcamaross11

Because I'm going away for Christmas, otherwise I would have Hodges for 7k......that is for 7k you get a 72k mile car with all good synchros new brakes new rotors new tires etc, needs nothing.

he is right guys if you are not interested in the car at his price which is his right if someone likes it or not you can not troll here. please if you are not interested in the car at that price don't comment. it was fine to bring a past thread back but leave his pricing to him he explained everything we asked let it go.

time to let this one go, i get your point but he explained in detail things he did to the car to justify the price. i don't want this to turn into tech where one guys starts something them 15 people jump on a guy it not fair. to anyone.
