2000 Trans AM WS6 For Sale
Well, the time has come to part with my buggy, kinda bummed. My business needs a cash infusion.
Its a 2000 Trans AM WS6, Automatic, Black with Silver “SS” style dual stripes on hood and tail. 134K miles but has been maintained well. Paint is in pretty good shape but has a few scratches that will be touched up prior to selling providing I can find time.
It is in Columbia City, INDIANA.
I am asking 8000.00 for it. Ask for Paul 260 402 8199. Email me for pictures at info@midwestsp.com. I will get them taken this weekend.
The Good:
Motor has been checked out over the past 12 month, no head gasket leaks, compression within spec.
Mobil one used since day one
Tranny service less than 5K ago
New plugs 3K miles ago
SLP under-drive pulley with new belts about 5K miles back
SLP Lid w/ K&N Filter
Magnaflow High-flow cats
SLP Y-pipe with a bobbed exhaust that exits in front of the rear axle. SLP LMII muffler after the Y-Pipe.
Predator Handheld Tuner
Complete fuel system and intake cleaning service with new fuel filter 3K miles ago.
UMI Torque Arm, Relocation mount for tranny/torque arm, LCA’s, Panhard bar, Strut brace and 3 POINT subframe Connectors.
Rear end completely rebuild by Dave @ Triple Edge Performance in Ft. Wayne, IN. 3:42 gears installed with new bearing throughout. Less than 1000 miles on rebuild.
New Kenwood CD deck
Console lid is in GREAT Shape, lol
New brakes within the last 3000 miles, NAPA premium rotors with adaptive pads.
New water pump in the last 300 miles with a complete flush including the heater core.
Drives and tracks straight.
American Racing Torque Thrust M Wheel with Z rated BF Goodrich's.
The Bad/Fixable
UMI components/bolts need a retighten, a few little clicks and clunks starting to pop up. (This may be done prior to selling if I get time), takes about 30 minutes.
Door panel crack like most of these cars.
Slight oil leak, needs the oil pan gasket changed. Just started this past 6 months. A drip every couple days.
Slight clunk in tranny under light throttle. Still shifts and drives fine but I was told that it will probably need work in the next 5-10K miles. I was also told it might be the U-Joints by the one last shop that looked at it. I have not had time to change them to verify it.
Power antenna mast needs to be replaced. Motor assembly is fine.
Power mirrors wont move right, needs a new switch.
Some bubbling on the T top panel, once again, like most of these cars.Last edited by BlackPearl; 12-13-2012 at 08:59 AM.

Can you please post pictures? I know you state to contact you for pictures, but per forum rules, you need to have pictures posted in your for sale thread. Good luck. I've been out your way a few times to see Bob.
