2000 Trans Am 416 RWHP
Finally selling the black beast. I purchased it in 2004, and mechanically, the thing has been as reliable as you could want. She is mostly a garage queen these days, so it is time to pass her on to someone to carry the Firebird torch.
I used to be on these forums almost every day, mostly reading and trying to gather information. I put a lot of time and thought into the powertrain mods, to make sure they were all meticulously mated to one another without any obvious bottle necks. I was more than pleased with the results, and the custom Flowmaster duals really give it a unique and menacing sound.

1. Purchased the car with a Rebuilt Salvage title
It had a rebuilt salvage title because it was stolen and recovered from the previous owner. Then I purchased it in 2004, when it had 57k miles on it. It ran like a beast since the day I bought it. Ive put almost 40k miles on it, modded it in 2007, and it still runs like a beast and then some.
2. The chrome rims have some rust on the barrels
3. T-tops are the dot-matrix style off of an LT1 Firebird.
I used to not always lock the t-tops with a key, and I lost one on the highway. I still have the passenger LS1 t-top if you want it (so I have 3 t-tops in total).

I am interested in the "Beast". I sent a PM yesterday with no response. I have been a member for a long time but have never posted. I am not sure if the PM went through. What is the best way to contact you?

Hi Bigdaddy, I will send you a PM in a second.
I will work on getting some engine bay pics.
Here are the interior pics you wanted:
Driver's Seat has some wear
Passenger's Seat is in pretty darn good shape (I must not have any friends)

I had a question regarding tread wear on the tires.
The fronts have BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDWS
The tread is starting to get low on them:
The rears have Nitto 555
245/45 (even though they are only 245's, Nittos run wide, and these are slightly wider than the front tires)
They still have a lot of tread life left on them:

Clear MTI lid:
LS6 Intake painted black to match the theme:
The camera and flash do not do the Stainless QTP Long Tube Headers justice. In person and in the sunlight, the stainless has some red, purple, and blue hues where they meet the heads:

Not a post for interest of the car, but I want to ask, what is the difference between '98/'02 T-tops and '93/'97 model t-tops? You said there is a dot matrix pattern to them? I have never noticed this before, could you post a photo of that?2000 Trans Am WS.6 M6

Somewhat surprised that it came down this low. I think someone is going to get a good deal, as it is a lot of engine and a unique custom exhaust set-up for the money.
