2000 Trans Am
Well, I didn't really want to. But after back surgery I can't play with the car anymore. This car has been my baby for the last 4 years. I have replaced everything on the suspension except the panhard bar (couldn't decide). Car is in excellent conditions, there are some small paint chips and dings. Alternator replaced last June. Here is what has been done, plus parts I have that have not been installed. Tires are brand new, less than 1000 miles. It is a 10 year old car, so it is not perfect.
Suspension
3-Point Subframe connectors
New shocks
New brakes and rotors
35mm front sway bar and 25mm rear sway bar
Tubular rear control arms
All bushings have been replaced in the last 2 years
Engine
SLP Lid
LSXtreme SS Longtube headers (still in box)
SS y-pipe (not installed, comes with all connectors)
Magnaflow exhaust. (Not cat back, just muffler with dual quad tips)
Poly motor mounts (not installed)
LS2 Timing chain (nib)
Interior
Stereo is completely redone.
Pioneer Head unit with Ipod and bluetooth
Infinity components in front door
pioneer 4-way in rear
MTX Thunderform sub/box combo
Sony Xplod Am
$9000.00 obo or trade for Ford Lightning (2nd gen)

If you were closer, I'd offer to trade a similar TA with higher mileage (and cash) for it. Something cheaper to mothball while still owning that that kind of car. I don't understand what your back has to do with it - temporary pain, ability to work on cars, disability, e.g., need for quick cash? I find the seats very good for a bad back, not that I've spent much time sitting in other kinds of vehicle seats. Good luck.

I've had surgery and am limited on movement. Hard to twist around a car when your 6' 7".

Hard to fit in a car at that height (One reason I bought my first Bird was my height, though I'm short compared to you.) Then that's your only vehicle, I'll conclude. A friend or relative to temporarily swap vehicles would be nice, but I guess it's not possible. Anyway, I hope you recover fully.

Off-topic, but you couldn't you get a disc replacement instead? That might also allow driving the car in the near future.
