I think it has mileage in mid 80k range. I can't remember, it has been in the garage since the end of last summer. I don't know what the vehicle is worth! I never planed on selling it. I bout it with about 45k (it think) for 15,750 and dropped about 15k in to it in just parts. Not to offend anyone but "mechanics" suck, they don't care about your car. They do things a cheaply and as quickly as possible and seldom know more than what the computer is telling them. I am an engineer and my buddy is a mechanic for exotic cars (but we won't hold that against him) anyway I don't know what it would have cost to have someone do all the work I think another 10k in labor would be conservative but I don't know. I know you never get back most of what you put in to the car. I'm not hurting for money so that’s ok. I would say $15,500. I just want to sell it for a reasonable price to some one who will appreciate it.

By the way Mark. I love the picture. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning"
I have a movie print of that hanging on one of my walls.

BTW, check the Kelly Blue Book & NADA websites for a good idea of worth your car is worth. Both are good guides for an asking price since banks use them for granting loans. Also tells you what an insurance company will cover a vehicle for.

Ya I know. They don't have the SLP in there though. Also when I went to buy the car this was the only one anywhere near what kbb was showing. I know there is a difference between the ss and the TRUE slp, but the cars I was finding were 5-8k higher than a standard ss from kbb. The other problem is they assume you have a "normal" car. One that is stock and one that has say surface rust on the underbody or oxidation on the drive shaft exc. They don't expect you car to be in better shape than when it rolled off the car lot how many years ago. If you have insight on what you think the car is worth I would be more than happy to hear it. Like I said. I never really dealt with selling my cars. I always just planned on keeping them form my self so never worried about re-sale. I think the $15,500 is a good fair price and the end buyer will be very happy with what he gets vs what he played. But any insight you have is always very appreciated. I just know if they wanted to take a "normal" KBB car and get it to this level they would have to buy the car + buy the parts + most people would have to pay someone to work on it. This would save them a LOT of money 20-25k worth and about 3 years of time.

Forgot to mention. I am moving 2wks from Wednesday. I will not have a place to keep this car. I only have enough room for the other car and the bikes. This means I am motivated to sell. The net doesn’t do this car justice. You would be much better off physically looking at it. Plus this way you don't have to take my word you can judge for yourself. So anyway I would be willing to entertain any REAL offers. I could do a trade but it would have to be for another bike as I am very space limited in the new place and it is out in the stix so there is no place to even rent a storage garage near buy.

This Scum bag still has not brought me the money yet. He keeps stringing me along. He supposedly had 7k taken form him by the state for back child support. He claims they can't do that because he already had a payment plan set up. I don't really care. I just want my money. If they guy owes child support he needs the pay for his firkin kids before buying a car like this. Anyway, I have his 500 non refundable deposit. I don't want any bitching so I have given him till Tuesday to get his shit sorted out. He offered another deposit but I don't have the hart to take it. I think he needs to take care of his life before leaving deposits for stuff he can't afford. Any way if I don't have my money by Tuesday I will put up a note on this post along with pictures (will post on Wednesday) Any questions call me on my cell 412-330-9367
Sorry guys. I don't mean to jerk anyone around I am just trying to give this asshole every reasonable chance.

Ok, They guy hasn’t even returned a phone call today. The car is officially back on the market. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow. I just need to find one of my friends who actually know how to do that kind of thing. I am now beyond my move out date. The Camaro is in the garage and the Jag is out on the street.
