Need to make room for my new SS

1999 Red Camaro Z28

$10,000 OBO
101,XXX miles
Auto
T-Tops
Ebony Leather (no wear marks or tears/no stains on the carpet)
C6 replicas 18x9.5 front 18x11.5 rear (needs tires)
Cat-back Flowmaster exhaust
Brand new quality paint job by a Chevrolet dealership painter (went in to have the front bumper painted and ended up painting the whole thing)
Completely redone sound system (2 Rockford Fosgate P1's, custom box)
Tint
Motor is completely stock and extremely solid
Garage kept and covered (only driven in nice weather)

This car has been meticulously maintained. Oil changes every 3,000 miles and is owned by the son of a Chevrolet dealership employee. I have been told 100's of times that this car looks like I just drove it off the showroom floor. Inside and out looks brand new.

the problem is that its immaculate...you won't find a cleaner one...has some extras and has a $4000 paint job. I would think that is worth something.

I'd be interested in purchasing this, as to make my existing a Z a DD and perhaps this a weekend warrior build-up. But like the rest have said, that $10k is probably running people out. "Immaculate" condition and 100k miles is something 95% of people have a hard time putting together. Just too many miles. People immediately jump to conclusions about things being replaced and that sort. Most of us owners know better than that, I know I totally understand what you're saying and where you're coming from. No matter what, I stick to the up-keep of all my vehicles, as I don't want to have to pay for it later down the road. I'm sure you're the same. Regardless, people see it's a car that's going on 12 years old, the mileage is over 100k and no matter what you say, they want (and can) use those two things against you. Mine is a 2000 w/ 109k miles and people didn't even wanna give me $6k for it when i thought about selling it a while back, interrior is flawless, exterrior is probably a 9 out of 10 almost, chrome c6s, full exhaust, steering wheel radio controls, etc...

That car is still in extremely nice condition from what I can tell, and with April charging along now, I don't see you having much trouble trying to get rid of it. May want to re-consider that asking price but it's not my place to tell you, I can only make suggestions

I appreciate man and yes I'm extremely particular about how my cars look. I am a perfectionist when it comes to them and want everything that has to do with them that way. It does say OBO and i would take $9000 for it so I dunno maybe that would bring around some more interest. It's going to be going on Ebay in the next few weeks so we will see what happens.

Yea I know it sucks...the value of our cars has fallen like crazy...I'm negotiable with the price but I am not going to just give the car away...I'm just surprised I haven't received a whole lot of interest in it

Car looks like it's in fabulous shape, it appears to be worth 9k, but being it auto, over 10 years old, and over 100k miles, I think 7.5k would more along the lines of "fair". Good luck with the sale.

thanks. Yea I'm sure the price and mileage is why no one is interested but I'm in no rush to sell I can sit on it for awhile. I plan on taking it around to car shows and sticking a for sale sign in it. It's one of those cars you just have to see for yourself to really understand how nice the car really is.
