1999 Camaro Z28 165k $3,800OBO
So I figured I'd go ahead and see what I could get for the car, before I start tearing into, and dumping my time and money into it. The car has 165k miles on it, I drove it about 60 miles from my mother's to my girlfriend's house, where the car now sits. Besides it being hard as hell to drive because the metal inside the steering wheel is split on the top portion of the wheel, and it needing a power steering pump, the car drove like a dream. Anything but a dead stop, and turning the wheel isn't difficult by any means, I was surprised....
The Good:
Body is in excellent shape, just has some left-over residue from a bumper sticker on the rear passenger side lower portion of the bumper that needs a heat gun or maybe some goo-gone to take it off. It doesn't have a single door ding in the entire car, that I can see. No typical dash cracks that you find in alot of these cars. Has traction control. It has aftermarket polished 17" Torq-Thrust II wheels, SLP LM1, SLP Y, and LS1 MotorSports lid. Also has an ancient Sony cd player with an amp and sub in the back. Transmission was rebuilt approximately 3k miles ago, barks 2nd at WOT, shifts great.
The Bad:
Has a spider-web crack in the paint on the rear bumper that you must stand no further than 2 feet away and look directly on it, to be visible. Wont show up in any shot that I take. Needs a windshield. Also needs the common BCM solder fix for the windows/radio, as they commonly work when they want to. The steering wheel needs to be replaced, I've got one coming in on order. The power steering pump needs to be replaced, I already have one. Headlights are yellowed, need to be attended to or replaced if you dont wanna sand them or clean them up. Tint could be re-done, I don't care for it much. Interrior is in great shape, I haven't vacuumed it, but there is a small tear in the driver's seat left bolster. Just an eye sore really. Fog lights dont illuminate, dont know why. Could be bulbs, havent looked into it. Also needs a battery as I took the one out of my girls Yukon and put it in there when I bought a new one for the truck, still works but will need to be replaced soon.
I think that about covers everything, there may be a few things I missed. I'm asking $3,800 OBO as it sits. Oh, its a B4C car so it DOES have the 3.23 posi rear in it. My pewter Z has 2.73s and I can tell right off the bat, in 1st gear, that the white one is definately steeper. If you guys have any questions, send me a PM or call me at (540) 748-5959. I WILL ONLY DO LOCAL PICK-UP AND IN-PERSON TRANSACTIONS!!!

I can see how this is gunna go... I opened my mouth about how much I picked it up for, and these are the offers I get Ah well, I'd be doing the same thing on the other side of the fence.
Regardless, I've got a few weeks off from work, buddy has the day off, so with the parts I have in hand, we're going to go ahead and put 'em on. I'll leave this thread alone for another week. I'm shopping around for a low mileage 01/02 WS6 or an early model/low mileage C5 vette in the meantime. Hopefully will sell this one, if not, will put the pewter one up for sale, as it SHOULD bring $4k

I guess I'm gunna go ahead and pull it down... getting my pewter one back from the body shop, and have decided to get rid of that one, once I switch out the longtubes.

Hmm, pretty quick to shut down my other thread, without even sending me a PM about the matter, yet won't close this one out, even after I've already asked for it.....
Where's the logic amongst the two matters? Mr fastss....
