I had the car sold for more than $7500 , but I backed out. I cannot find anything I like to replace it for less than $20,000, so it looks like I am going to keep it and start the mods!

    Good luck,

Here, where poverty rules, we tend to keep car a bit longer

LOL, yeah the LT1 cars tend to puck before the LS1 cars. Maybe it is just the LT1 cars trying to be as fast as the LS1s that cause that .
I love all F-body cars, I don't discriminate. I have a LT1 in the garage that I am building now. The shortblock on it went at 127K after a cam change.

It runs 13.6 at 104 on a very slippery track. Most people run .3-.4 slower on this track than they do on other tracks.

Sorry, I can't put any cash with any deal right now.
Update I turned on the headlights last night , and it sounds like the passenger headlight motor was making a noise when I turned them off. Might need a new headlight motor.

That sounds like its just your gear that got stripped...There is an easy FREE fix for it.Try a search on here and google.

And yes just to confirm a couple of things mentioned,98' WS6 and SS cars did have the single outlet (I thought it looked kinda cool personally and I bet you they will be somewhat sought after later down the road because soo many people ditch them as soon as they get a 98').Also my LS1 (a 2000 SS) has 138,xxx miles and drives like new.I think they are VERY durable motors but like with any motor,it all in how you care for it and how badly you punish it/or not.Mine is of course a DD.

Good luck on your sale!Great car and if I had what you are looking for, I would definately consider a trade!

Thanks, and I will look at getting the headlight gear. Last bump before it hits the local paper this week.
