1998 Trans Am/1963 Ford Falcon

I have a 1998 Trans Am, bought on 04/06/2009 at 104,776. The car as of today has 112,5xx. It has the LS1, with an A4. The car is Arctic White, that is over all pretty good. Few chips on the front, with a bit of clear coat coming off the Ram Air hood. The inside is a dark grey, that is in good shape. No cracks in the dash or door panels. I bought this car from a local Chevy dealer, who one of there Service department employees traded in for a C5 Zo6. He was there transmission specialist, who installed the shift kit on this car. He also said he adjusted the shift points. The Service Engine Soon light comes on, but he said its a code that flips from the shift kit. It causes to much pressure. I have had it pulled at random times, and its the same code. Other things he installed was a K&N Filter, SLP Headers, Y-Pipe, and new cats. This car has had Fully Synthetic Oil since new. He also said the rear has an Synthetic oil also. This car is NOT a WS6, but does have the hood and wheels. Still plenty of brake pads left, tires in good shape. The car does have TCS, and can be turned off. Currently I have an Alpine 9887 installed, but still have the stock head unit (Display acts up sometimes). I have the windows tinted, with 20% all around. I have the title in my hand right now, at the computer.

I also have a 1963 Ford Falcon Convertible, that is in good shape. Its red, with white top and an red inside. I have only drove this car a few times in an year, still runs. Fixing to have some work done to it. I inherited this car from my dad, he loved this car from what I was told. The car is all original to my knowledge, accept the wheels. I was told the bench seat is rare option for the Convertible, I would not know for sure.

It's a 2 door convertible, with a 6 cyl, don't know the CI, would like to know my self, lol. Yes, it is a Futura.

The electric motor does not work, I never drove the car enough to cared to get it fixed. Was never hard to put it down by hand, but I don't know how much it would cost to get it fixed. I been really busy the past few days, I will try and get a photo shoot soon. Probably won't get a chance to clean it, it's a bit dusty. But it sits in a garage all day and everyday, it has not seen rain in 15 years (I know that for sure).

Cool, and your close to me, so, it could be a good deal for both of us (no bullshit shipping and all that jazz). Just FYI, those motors for those tops are major $$$$. Any cancer anywhere on the car that you can see? perticularly around the soft top storage area?

Yea, I had priced them out years ago and at the time, they where to much money for me. But I know a guy up north who restores Falcons, he rarely gets a convertible. But I will give him a call and see if he haves any motors for the top.

Now beingt the car us 46 years old. It could us some work. I am very picky about my cars, here is what I rate it.

Paint: 6.5
Body: 8
Interior: 7

It could us some cleaning up under the hood, painting or powder coat. I would say the undercarriage is showing it's age. I will take pics soon, I been trying to help get my moms car running. My stepdad and I has been looking at an 88 Vette for my mom. Also my computer died... But the first thing I will do is get pics, tomorow, first thing on my list. Then upload them this weekend.

I kinda know where St. Cloud is, been a while since I been down there. For personal reasons, I would like to drive this down to where my dad was put to rest before I sell this, (FYI, please understand).

I don't know yet, I posted what NADA value it at and figured just go from there. I figured it was a good start, since I seen a few locally go for about that much.

I do ask if you buy it, please keep me up to date if you don't mind on the car. The reason I am selling it, is because I don't drive it. I don't really have the know how to work on it and parts cost allot/hard to find. I just think someone else could take better care of it and enjoy it more. Plus we could use the space in the garage and I can use the money. Like I said, I would like to buy something newer and be a better daily driver (why I am selling both).
