1 of 43 nbm 98 ss's. with you option it is like 1 0f 35 that i know of but with the white i think it is 1 of 20 or 18. there are 2 m6 that i have run across.
i always wanted the white top and white seats. i have black top grey seats.

yes ,it was a single on the drivers side like that one but that tip isn't stock ,it was more of a oval shape,or kind of a rectangular with rounded corners, if that makes sense.

It is 100% original. I have had 3 98 SS's and 2 WS6's, that were all 98's. Only a Y2Y SS has had dual duals. That tip and the exhaust is 100% authentic original. The only thing not original on this car is the battery, air filter and the fluids.

By the way I have 3 original dual dual Firehawk/Y2Y SS complete exhaust systems and one original exhaust as you see in the pics from a WS6 I put a Borla on.

As i said the 98's had a single like that ,but i'm almost positive it wasn't round like that, more of a wider oval type.
Maybe i'm wrong tho,It's been a few yrs,i'l see if i can find a pic later.
I apologize if i'm wrong,I just don't remember it being round.
    Nice car by the way.
I miss mine.I actually had the first ls1 convertible 6 speed ever built. It was a pre production pilot car that was not even suposed to be released to the public.

Ps, If that is the orig exhaust i wouldn't replace it with a dual dual,I know they look better but it is so nice to see one, That still has that orig single. But it's a given that 99% of the people who buy it will change it out,+ then do other mods too.I'm actually interested in the car,+ i wouldn't change that for anything.

Ya your right, I went looking for pics but they are few + far between, The only 1 i could find was a 7000 mi t/a + it has that same round pipe.I found a description of the ss one + it just says a 3" chrome tipbut no pic,If it was oval or a rounded off rectangular one i think they would have mentioned that.
I must have maybe seen an after market, oval one, yrs ago + figured it was orig.or maybe a concept car or something,I just remember seeing one somewhere + for yrs thought the orig single was a big chrome oval one instead of round.
I stand corrected. Dammit ,I hate it when i'm wrong. I remember looking for pics when i had mine a couple yrs ago too,but couldn't find pics, someone had put dual duals, on it before i got it.+I wanted to go back to stock.

    Navy Blue
    98-Camaro SS.

100% correct as that's the same tip that came stock on my car.
PS: Nice SS Mario, but I'm bias.
