water pump question????????

i have a 96 trans am lt1 and i just replaced the opti in it , ok i am confused now what goes on first the water pump or the vaccum motor bracket? need to know this right now i am wainting on this reply to continue

Pretty sure the wp goes on first. When looking at the front of the engine the right side of the wp has three bores, the furthest right bore is where the stud from the block goes through the wp. You gotta put the nut on the stud, then the bracket overlaps the nut on the wp. Then put the nut over the bracket on the same stud. Im going off what I did on a 97 LT1, so im not positive if its the same but goodluck! so it goes: block, stud, gasket, wp, nut, bracket, and nut.
