    wallbro fuel pump

    im thinking of cutting a hole up top
    is it that hard to drop the tank
    is there just a drop in fuel pump
    why is there a wiring kit cant i just replace the stock pump with a aftermarket in place on the lt1
    i just like asking questions so i know what im in for

    People cut the hole up top, not a big deal it is a PIA to drop the tank. GM and replacemnet pumps don't supply that many GPM as the walbro. You can get away with it on a 350 head and cam build but that is pushing it. The wire kit helps give the Walbro the amps it needs to run correctly. Doing this to a gm pump or replacement helps them too. these cars had several things that were under wired.

    No lift = about 3hrs to drop the tank some I imagine some are faster @ it but that is what it took me to do mine. I hate cutting holes in a perfectly good body..

    Do it right and drop the tank. It may not be easy but dont hack up your car. It's not like you're going to be replacing fuel pumps every year. The last thing I would want to do is weaken the body in any manner around the fuel tank, and I dont give a shit what people say that have done it, fuck that. They're not GM engineers, and they didnt design the car or crash test it.

    Agree 100% When I see a "cut mod" on a car for sale I just keep looking. To me a cut up car is worthless..

    ever hear of yhe gernati 255 pump that summit sells for 125 they say it will fit stock replacement and will support 700hp im going le2 package and 30lbs injectors
