vaccum line?

This is a discussion on vaccum line? within the LT1 forums, part of the Vehicle Specific category; can anyone tell me where this lil guy connects too?... engine is a 97 LT1...

    There is, and i have the chiltons manual but... it only shows the other two lines coming out of whatever that thing is and there both connected. Thus my confusion.

    I have a 96 and don't have a hose coming out of there. Try starting the car up and putting your finger over it. If you feel suction plug it up. It looks like there should be a piece of plastic hose going to it.

    That is your evap cannister purge solenoid. I just went out and looked at my wife 97 Z (a bone stocker that hasn't been messed with) and it's the same way,,,,just a rubber elbow going to nothing.

    I assume it's probably a vent of sorts for the solenoid. No worries.
