    two questions

my first question.... My rpms go high but speed remains the same... first assumption is the clutch is slipping.... and so im going to buy a clutch kit on thursday but before i do I was wondering if there was anything else that could cause it? i believe these clutches arent adjustable with the hydrolics... they are self adjusting correct? MY CAR IS a 1995 transam with a 5.7 350.

Second question... I bought the car used... im not sure if this is the stock exhaust system.... but i have been pulled over a few times with them saying i have modified exhaust.... i havent really looked... but am not sure what is stock.. all i can tell you is its dual with tail pipes... can someone tell me about what comes stock? or were i can find that information.

    Thank you

It does sound like your clutch is on it's way out. As for the exhaust... I'm sure you can find some info at google, and perhaps some pictures as to what the stock exhaust looks like. If the intermediate pipe is three inches in diameter, chances are it's aftermarket.
