Trany type
Does anyone know what type of transmission I have?? It's an 1993 TransAm with a 3 speed automatic. I don't know the tranny code.
700r4, 4L60. ??
Thanks in advance.

3 speed? Are you sure? If its the tranny from the factory, then its the 4-speed 4L60. If it was swapped, then there's no telling.

2 - second gear
3 - third gear
D - fourth gear, and its your only overdriven gear.
