white- 94 camaro z28
thought i would post what my build for my lt1 is
I have not driven my lt1 in 2 years. mainly because a head gasket blew then, secondly because I have not had the time to finish my build due to family and 50 hour work weeks.
the build that I have already bought every single part for and half way started already includes these parts
patriot 195cc heads ported to 209cc flow tested at 320cfm @ .650 lift ( can't remember exhaust, but it was ported exhaust side also)
comp cams full roller rockers (hardened lightened ones don't have package in front of me)
comp cams conical valve springs
comp cams performance lifters ( it's the high lift version if you go on their site)
383 all forged scat racing bottom end with H beam rods
Kieth black coated pistons with valve reliefs.
arp bolts through out
comp cams timing chain
alternator relocation kit
edelbrock aluminum valve covers
strengthened aluminum performance oil pan.
if i put this into my camaro like I was planning on I will use these parts that I already own.
stage 3 built 4l60e (bowtie overdrives)
3600 stall torque converter from tci with anti ballooning plate.
wrapped long tube headers from pacesetter (wrapped by me very tightly in a dry heated environment. trick I learned from messing with a turbo car.)
tsp true duals
wait on the built 10bolt to kick the bucket.
I can't remember the specs on the cam, but when I ordered it Comp Cams told me to expect 470rwhp and 630 ft/lb of torque with a 8200 rpm redline and accept nitrous very well.
You can laugh at me for not putting it together, but I have had too much going on in my life to get to it. It's a project that's just not as important as kids and a good paying job.

Don't sweat it. Schtuff happens.
I'm in the same boat with my project, 6-months going on 2 years..
Camaro project waits in the wings on top of that..
With work, kid, and being a husband sometimes there just is'nt enough time or "me" to go into my projects..
Sounds like a great build.. Post up some pics when you get lol time..

.....from the sounds of it, I think you really dont want to bother with the build and just buy another toy! Just dont fall into the trap like I did. I decided to put off one of my builds for a simple 4-6 months, turned into 3.5 years. Ended up selling entire set-up for another Fbody running already, plus cash. Seen it later with all my stuff in it.....sad.
