Oh yea it can hold the 100 shot no problem.
Its up to you if you want to rebuild it or not, 144 thousand miles is not bad for a 94. But if it feels like it needs the rebuild then go for it and time to fuck around with it before the rebuild

I would do a leak down test and check for problems. If all is good, mileage is still good, no oil usage etc....I wouldn't touch it.
My wife drives our 97 LT1 everyday to work and now has right at 100,000 miles. Doesn't use oil, runs strong, so I am not touching it unless it gives me a reason to,,,lol. I have no desire to mod it unless it breaks first.

If this is just a toy for you and you want to tinker, by all means have some fun.

100-shot on a rebuilt stock block no problemo. I'm guessing your kit will consist of fresh pistons as well??? If so, spend a little more doe and make sure to opt for the forged units. The stock crank and rods are just fine for what you wan't, just have them spec'd to make sure they are still in good working condition. Other than that, have fun!

thanks. do you know where i can get a master rebuild kit and not have to buy it seperate becuase i dont want to forget anythings. i am going to do the tests first though to see if my motor is fine to mod the way it is becuase it doesnt smoke or tap. its a great motor and no leaks so i might not have to rebuild it
