    Ram Air airbox or SLP CAI???

    My car has an SLP CAI intake on it, but It has a functional ram air hood, without the air box. Which would be better to have? Also I have a BBK throttle body on it

    i had the ram air now i have the K&N fipk, i like the K&N better, i think it gives more performance anyway.

    You'll probably get more of a gain out of a standard cold air intake. Heat rises.

    Actually, it isnt, and neither is the SLP, I just wanted to see if he would back up his claim

    Most of the cold air intakes are about the same. The SLP actually has the disadvantage of being metal, and therefore more prone to heatsoke.
