Welcome to the site and congrats on the purchase. Good thing to go over the new truck with a full tune-up if you haven't done so already (plugs, wires, oil, filters). Besides that headers sound like a good place to start, gain a little power and make a little noise

Long tube headers,a CC503 cam, some mild head porting and a good tune should get you there.

Thanks guys. Any certain brand of headers? I have had good luck with hooker and patriot ceramic coated ones on some big block stuff.

Hookers are usually mild steel so get them ceramic/jet hot coated to make them last.

G'day and welcome to the site, Dean. I know many who do the LT4 conversion kit, and are very happy with the results. Yields quite a bit of power. Depending on your budget, it's an option to consider.
