Need Advise on High Performance Catalytic Converter

Purchased a 1995 Trans Am with what appears to be a Gutted Catalytic Converter. Need to pass emissions so a new Cat must be installed. I do like the performance on the high flow gutted cat and therefore would like to install a high performance cat. I need recommendations on the best brand to purchase that will pass emissions. It needs to be a "direct fit" bolt in.

Have you already taken it and it failed? I would try it first to make sure. Otherwise I would buy a cheap stock pipe and an off-road pipe and just switch them every 2 years or whenever emissions is.
