Dark Green-Gray- 1993 Chevy Z28
My car is making a wicked slamming noise when launching...Any may know what it is?
I recently bought a 93' Z28 with an auto trans and has 110k miles.
When i launch it from a standstill, the rear right wheel/suspension/something makes a loud bumping/slamming noise. I went underneath the car to check the transmission mounts, and they were fine.
Anyone knows what might be causing this noise?

Take a look at the rear bushings in the LCA's and also the Panhard. They are rubber from the factory and could be worn to the point where metal to metal contact is taking place.
Also welcome to LS1.com
