    My baby is down

My Z went down on me the other nite. I believe its the opti or coil. I just filled up w/sum push water and not 100 yrds or so down the road she quit on me. Started sputtering and then died. wouldn't crank back up and i even tried the next day and still didn't crank so..... I have a MSD opti on the and im gonna change the coil, plugs, and wires all at the same time. Imma also check hte timing chain and make sure it aint broke. I think i have alot of work ahead of me.

What do you mean push water?
A bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter could also be the culprit. Changing the opti is a time-consuming process. I would look into the fuel pressure before tearing into the car.

When you replace everything put some washers behind the Coil/ICM bracket it will help keep the heat off the ICM.

My 91 T/A did exactly the same thing after filling up a while back. It ended up being a fuel pump. It was hard to diagnose though because it would work sporadically. Good luck I feel your pain:-(
