Silver / black- 95 Z28
Multiple cranks to fire...
Hey~
So in Januray I got a 95 Z28, 6-speed, t-tops. leather...blah blah but it's totally stock. The car sat for almost a year and a half before I got it. When I first got it, one crank badda bing it fired right up. Through the winter when the streets were clear i'd drive it one or two days a week. Now that the weather is breaking and I can actually use the t-tops I drive it almost everyday but ever since early March it takes 2-3 cranks to fire up. My buddy had a 93 Z28 and now has a 00 ws6 and says he had the same issue with his Z and still does with his ws6. Is this normal? I replaced spark plugs, checked alternator, spark plug wires, starter, ignition switch, key chip, etc. etc. bnut still 2-3 cranks to start. Any ideas?

Might check your fuel pressure when you turn the key to the on position.

Like 5.0 this said check the fuel pressure. Probably would not hurt to change the fuel filter and the intake filter.
Edit: I just noticed its a 95 clean the maf as well.
