msd opti timing screw
the manual on the msd opti doesnt say how the timing screw adjusts the timing, just that it does so +/-7 degrees and that stock is two turns out from all the way in. so to advance/retard, is it screw in to advance, or does that retard etc. anyone know off hand?
ps it also says that the 96-97 lt1 being obd2 change timing at idle, and so to set the advance when about 1500rpm or so... does that mean someone should hold the rpm at 1500 while doing the adjustments, or to adjust with the screw until that rpm is reached at idle?

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
It sounds like you want to do it with someone holding it at 1500. Is there even a mark to see what the timing is?
