    motor mount replacement

well for the past week or so i have been getting a vibration in my car. i had just gotten a magnaflow exhaust put on and i thought it may have been that since the guy that installed it is a hack... but then my dad took a ride with me in the car and stated that he thought i might have a bad motor mount, and today when i was driving i took of fairly hard and heard a bang so i jacked up the car, i spot the passanger side mount, it seems fine. then i go to find the drivers side and it is no where to be found i ran my hand along the cross member where i thought i should be in relation to the other one and there was nothing there i ran my hand along the whole side of the motor nothing! so on a scale of 1-10 how hard of a job am i looking at 1 being washing the car and 10 being installing headers. also can someone please post a step by step procedure for it

my car is a 93 z28 a4 hooker catback, qtp cutout, k&n cai, vortec elbow, high flow cat, tb bypass, tb airfoil, rk sport ss hood

I am alittle confused. Are you saying you have no driver side mount at all? Or are you missing some of the pieces?

It can be a pain in the ass to do. You need to have the car on ramps or jackstands and jack the motor slightly so you can get in there. I havent done one in years though.
