Monster Build advice needed
I havent done near as much research as i have thinking about this. Im wanting to take a LT5 and build a beast out of it. 1990-1995 ZR-1 Motor. Im wanting to do head work, cams, bore, stroke. All the goodies to make a bad azz strip maching. I currently have a 1994 Camaro Z-28 M6 w/a blown motor. It was going to eventually be a project but its happening sooner than expected. I was wandering if ya'll could help point me in the right direction as far as parts and everything for this build up and how much i could possible look at pushing. I know im goin 2 put the "Viper" T-56 in it and a nodular 9" rear under it. I just don't know what suspention to put under it and all that other stuff.
Thanks,
Steven'94 Z-28 M6 K&N CAI, ORY, Unscreen MAF, TB Bypass, TB Air Foil, Flowmaster 80 series, Centerforce Clutch, 160 degree therm., 18X10.5 rear and 17X9.5 front Z06R wheels. soon to be taken to the track

I hope you have 20K+ to spend on the project. Just the motor work alone will be over 15000 probably, if not more. It's a cool idea, but parts for the LT5 are extremely rare, and even more expensive. For what you'll spend on the LT5 motor, there are cheaper ways to get to those hp levels with an LT1 or LT4.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
this company makes 32 valve heads for a standard small block. you can probably do some modification to make them fit an lt1. http://www.araoengineering.com/

well you also have to factor in that the lt1 is a reverse cooling engine so r the heads gonna work for that?
