Does it have a good PCM tune to go with the cam? If so, I'd put it at 320-330rwhp through the automatic.

close to 350rwhp is my guess... and wouldn't an odbI pcm fail an inspection in anything past 1995 since 96+ should have odbII????

With the factory tune that thing is far from ideal. I'll say 310rwhp then, if that.

I'd seriously consider an obdII PCM.. ObdI's need to be "chipped".. Just my .02

That's not true. Only 93 LT1 cars have replaceable Eprom chips. 94-95 cars can be tuned. My car was tuned via tunercats software I believe it was. Full tune.

Learned something.. Is it a burner setup or something totally different? It was my understanding that OBDI cars had to have tunes burned onto a power chip.. Ie where the "chipped" comes from.. Or are you talking obd1.5's? Either way I'd imagine you're tunning in SD?

Well if your primary concern is hp like you initially asked, then these guys are basically saying its not gonna be great by any means, due to your pcm deficiencies.

Well you've come to the right place for help.. Sounds like possibly they baught a PCM from a junk yard and it harness to try to make something work.. Intil you iron out the PCM issue. I would'nt throw anymore money @ the engine.. Just my .02..

Not speed density. 94-97 LT1 cars are all MAF. Only 93s were "chipped" and SD.

the car had a bunch of upgrades... but i somehow broke the timing chain.. a freeze plug came loose inside the timing chain cover... cost me 650$ to fix that... the bad thing is it bent some valves at the same time.. so i have no choice but to throw more money into this car before i can even drive it... i only owned it a month (almost a month) i only really even drove it the 1 time the timing chain broke... i was kinda testing things out... so i was WOT at about 125mph when the dang thing broke...
