    car=lt1--6speed----39000miles

    question=350rwhp &still pick up 28-30mpg on highway

    possible solution=le1 heads only
    Jet Hot LT's
    no cat's
    52mm TB
    1.6RR's
    GOOD dyno tune

    car=also has 4.10's

    Possible???????

    nope. A stock or barely modified car wont get that mileage, or at least it is rare. Just those gears alone will probably take you down to barely 20+mpg. And once you put in a cam, ouch.

    Well, you can get over 300rwhp with just bolt ons, and with the heads, maybe 320 or so rwhp.

    didn't notice he excluded either, wise ass. the suggestion was intentionally & partially anti-performance - in direct response to the idea of adding performance heads on an LT1 while retaining the stock cam for gas mileage purposes.
