Is the knock sensor the same as knock module

No. A knock sensor is mounted in the engine block. The knock module is what interprets the data from that sensor. It is located within the PCM.

Whats the point of putting a lt4 one in an lt1?

red ta orange gto- 97 trans am 06 gto
its not as sensitive as the lt1 so you can run some heavier mods and the knock sensor will not retard the engine
