LT1 won't start!
I am having problems with my 94 Camaro Z28. It is only getting a very weak spark at the plugs, but it is getting plenty of fuel. I have replaced the distributor and all of it components because there was alot of jacked up wiring done when the motor was rebuild prior to me aqairing it from a buddy of mine. (Some one did some work before he got it). The only other thing that I can think of is either getting the computer flashed or getting a new key made. The key has one of those black chips on it and the security light is flashing when I attempt to start the engine. Any suggestions?

If the Security light is flashing I believe that is the reason it will not start. I don't have my tuning software right now but I believe the security system can be tuned out. PM Frost I think he will know for sure if it can be.
You also said it's getting plenty of fuel. Did you measure fuel pressure?96 WS6 Trans Am LT4 Hot Cam, Pacesetter LT, 2.5" Xpipe into Dynomax, 3000 Stall Edge racing converter, Trans go shift kit,Tuning by me, MSD6A, CSR waterpump 328 RWHP 12.36 @ 109

When the chip in my key went it would not activate the starter. It just disables the starting circuit. I don't think it disables the coil. If it's turning over and your getting spark but not enough it might be the coil or the modual on the back of it. Pull the coil wire and see if you get good juice. Becareful thought lots of juice in those things.
