    LT1 problem

I recently changed my opti after washing my engine (I'm a new LT1 owner and didn't know better). I replaced it with a new MSD model. I've been getting code 36 (high res) ever since I did the initial change. I've had the opti off three times and sent back to MSD. Everytime they say its fine, and the last time they (MSD) replaced all the internals. I'm still getting code 36. I've checked all wires and connectors to the opti-from the computer. I've checked the power and ground to the computer, as well as the voltages at the opti harness with the ignition on. Everything checks fine according to the Mitchell trouble shooting charts. Could it be that I've fried the computer? Any suggestions besides sell it?

What is the timing set at? You may have it advanced or retarded from stock. That would usually make it throw the crank low res. But its a thought.
