Start off with a CAI (cold air intake) then maybe a cat-back to make her breath better and keep going.

The 'mod bug' should be sunk in by then and in the end you will probably have a stroked cammed monster like most of us end up with in the end!

What cam are you talking about?

Everybody gets custom grinds now so (almost) everyone has different spec's for different applications.

    Like drag, street, RR, etc.

There are plenty of really fast impy's so you just need to research set-ups.

i want it for drag, the only set-ups i found are the SLP heads

I'd say full bolt-ons before modding the internals, but that's me.
There are plenty of companies out there (besides SLP) that have a good supply of heads and cams for the LT1.

What Mike is trying to say is.... if you've got 10 or 20 grand to spend, contact Advanced Inductions and they'll hook you up with a killer set of heads, gauranteed to flow 235cfm@.650 lift

That's a brilliant idea. A 383, or even a 396 stroker kit will net good gains with HUGE potential later on.

lmao 10 to 20 grand for a set of heads. man you really just like to joke to much. i have got to go pick mine up from them this week (just got the call today from phill) 210cc tfs heads completely built, cam, lifters, gaskets, push rods (measureing device included ) to check for proper length, intake ported and port matched to heads. i might have left some out but i dont think so. well i got all that for little over 3 grand. they are easy to talk to and just down right good people. their work speaks for itself.

That's not a bad deal at all. Especially for quality parts. Are you messing with the rotating assembly as well? Or just valvetrain?

    Yes (long answer below lol)

so far, unless jeff creech changes my choices, dragon slayer 3.75 crank, common .030 over bore, oliver billit rod, i was going -5cc je custom nitrous pistons, jeff says use cp (never even heard of them) then 2 stages of giggle gas, 125 outta the hole with 175 coming in once you hit 2nd gear and go WOT. still have atleast 4 to 6 months before i finish, at atleast maybe more. its nothing special just another 383 nitrous motor. also yeah the rearend and suspension have been delt with already. just hope the m6 rides for atleast the dyno tune and break in ,before it explodes. oh as far as CR we looking for 11.5 (piston .005 in the hole with a .027 gasket for the quench guys)

Edit: hey 5.0 then "me bad, me bad" later

its a hyd custom, not a comp cam lobe design like alot of guys use and call it custom. i was told to keep the lobe specs to myself (you guys know how the industry is with trying to get each others secerts) i'll just say it isn't small and it has some decent over lap.
have you seen the video with the 355 200cc , small solid roller cam red 96 ss yet?
