Lt1 and Ls1 look like?
I have recently purchased an engine for my 95 TA. I thought it was an Lt1, but my mechanic is telling me that it is an LS1. Even though he know so much more than me about cars, i am still convinced that its an ls1. What visual aids could i look for in the design of the engine to determine if it is an lt1 or an ls1?

Lt1 LS1 LOOK ALIKE
My friend has an Lt1 and the easiest way to tell is o look at the spark plug wires. The LS1 are individually distributed along the top of the valve cover rails, the LT1's wires are bunched in a distributer type format.
Anyone?

Biggest clue would be the intake runners compared to if its the regular lt1 manifold... second clue would be if there is an optispark on it
ps post a pic

Aluminum intake manifold=LT1
Black plastic intake manifold=LSx.. unless it has an aftermarket intake on it...
