Is there a big performance difference between the stock aluminum heads on a Z and the cast heads on an Imp SS. A friend of mine needs new valves and springs and I got a deal a while back on a set of cast heads for a hundred bucks, but he kind of wants AFR's, but he's also on a tight budget. Just need some info so I know what to tell him.

Flow wise, no, but the irons heads weigh significantly more.

Alum. heads have better heat transferring capabilities, so they also stay alot cooler and weight ALOT LESS for sure!!

You can run more aggressive timing w/ the aluminum heads before detonation
