    LT1 Guys...Help on TC

I'm in the process of building my first A4 car, a '93 Formula A4. My question, I planned to purchase a 3200-stall converter, but now the company that I was going to order it from said that a 3200-stall would be too much for a stock, bolt-on only LT1. I see other guys running 3000-3200 stalls on their bolt-on cars, so what's up with that. I wanted to hear it from the "real" LT1 A4 guys.

What kind of converter? What gears do you have? A lot of company's converters are looser than others. If you plan on staying close to stock I would not go over a 3000 stall, with a stock cam I think you would see your best performance out of a 2800 to 3000 stall.

Sorry for the late reply. It's a Yank "SS" 3200.
