Low Coolant Sensor on LT1
My "low coolant" light is coming on frequently even though the system is full of coolant and lines have been burped. Can someone tell me where this sensor is located on a 1997 LT1? I have heard you can simply unplug the sensor and do away with the in cab light. Any ideas???? Thanks!!

it is like right below the radiator cap in front of the battery. i had the same issue and unplugged mine. i was on the highway and panicked first time mine came on. i pulled over, went to a gas station and was pissed when i check coolant and found it was full but was relieved at the same time! lol

They're cheap and easy to replace, so get a new one asap.

You can remove it and try cleaning it. Sometimes that fixes it.
