    location of cap and rotor 95 lt1

    might be a dumb question but where is the cap and rotor located on the engine? front or back? right behind the water pump?

    Both white
    An LT1 and an LS1

    Optispark. On the front of the engine, between the water pump and timing cover. From under the car, look above the harmonic balancer/pulley; the opti has the plug wires going into it. You'll have to pull the water pump to replace it.
