Kumho ECSTA SPT
I got these tires a few months ago, and I basically like them and they really grab the road because of how soft the compound is, but in cornering, to be honest, I think they kinda suck. The side walls are way soft. My Cooper Zeon tires lasted 50k miles and still had more tread left and they were very stiff in corners but those were a very hard compound and I could spin the tires easily and "off the line" was not too good. Also under extreme cornering, you had to be careful because the Zeon's may slip as well. The SPT tires look better but it seems I am looking for a tire that has the best of both worlds or at least a happy medium. Any idea's?
I'm thinking about going to TOYO 18" someday. I wonder how TOYO's perform. I know they are expensive.

Get some Michilin Pilot Sport2 tires. Those will probably stick pretty well.

I used to use Kumho Escta Supra 712's. I have gone through about 6 sets. Cheap and are pretty grippy. The tires wore out way to fast though!

any tire that grips the road will wear fast. Soft compound grabs better than hard compound but soft wears off faster too. But my complaint is the side walls.. they are flimsy.
