    Unhappy K&N Rubber Coupler

I need some help. I have been looking for a replacement rubber coupler, that connects the K&N FIPK intake tube to the MAF. The one that came with the kit has gave out; it has cracked on the inside, and the MAF will not go in all the way. When I try to seat the MAF on the inside of the coupler, and tighten it, the rubber kinda mushrooms out and I need a new one.
    I couldn't find a direct replacement, but I found this on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/3-3-5-Intercoole...QQcmdZViewItem
besides the fact that its blue can anyone tell me if it would work??
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When mine tore I called directly to K&N (it was an 1-800 number) to order a new one.

They told me at the time (1998) that they warrenty their products for "life" and sent me a new one with no charge (not even shipping to Canada).

I have used a GM product called silicon emulsion to keep all the rubber on my car (including the K&N part) in like new condition and it has not went bad on my since.

K, I ordered the ebay one...should be here within a week or so. If that doesn't work, what do I look for at home depot or lowes?

I tried to help out you do not need the e-bay one as it might not even fit right. Give K&N a call they will stand behind their product!

Summit has a 90 day warrenty? That sounds right, where K&N will back their prduct for life.

I purchased my CAI in 1996 at a store up here in Canada not directly through the K&N factory either.

Won't hurt to give them a call imo.
