hot cam vs comp cam
im defantly gonna cam soon what cam is better i have long tube headers summer fun car im stuck between options im not going to change my 3.42 gear out of my m6 camaro i plan on supercharging eventualy but need more power know i like shifting at 6000 and know i go threw the traps at 6300 in 3rd

Damn man, I can hardly understand that post. You still need to elaborate more on what your goals are. Do you want a cam that will work in the future with a blower, because it wont be optomized for normally aspirated use. Most aftermarket cams will want to be revved to 6000 or a bit more, so if you want to stay at 6000 or below, you'll have a milder cam. And you will need all of the supporting valvetrain modifications with any new cam. Comp Cams makes tons of cams, so saying them versus the hotcam doesnt really mean anything.

BTW if you have a 99 it would be a LS1 and not LT1

sold it have a 95 lt1 i want to cam and run some juice for know i have another lt1 block that im gonna do turbo or supercharged stroker. my goals are 12 or 11 sec street car right now im 13.6 13.8 on street tires summer almost up in ohio car is stock free mods long tube headers and exhaust no converter. i have slicks off my chevelle but waiting for the rear end ive been racing for a while just trying to get some cam combo that work good im going to do the heads and go bigger valves. im use to bbc and new to lt1 im just not use to seeing so little duration

Its possible to to run 12s with the LT4 hotcam.
