Angry !!!!help Immediatly!!!!! Oil Pan Ques!!

i have heard a lot about that oil sensor thing. i unplugged the sensor on the side of the oil pan if thats what your talking about. and also i have the motor mounts disconnected from the motor and its as high as it can go w/out breaking the overhanging plastic piece. i also have the k mebmer bolts off but it didnt look like it moved an inch. should i have to pry pretty good on this thing or should it fall right down. i also have the starter off, the oil filter thing is off, oil cooler lines are off, and the oil pan is just hanging there. please help any more sugestions are awesome. im back on the job today and will be randomly checking this throughout the day. say any more info is great. thanks alot for the help so far!!

So, are you trying to drop the oil pan? What motor do you have?

Get a screwdriver and gently pry the pan off.

You probably could do it, but reassembly would be almost impossible. Do it right and pull it out. It's got to be done.

no my car is like 3 1/2 feet of fthe the ground it wouldnt be hard to put the pistons back in and if i couldn't do it my dad would for sure. he used to build cars, and he is a precision machinist for boeing building parts for fighter jets. he said he can maby fix my crank with it still in the bottom end. hes a genious when it comes to metal! he has all special tools for grinding metal. he can split a human hair 32 times. i hope he can fix this damn crank. but anyway on my crank journal on # 7 and 8 there is a little ridge from when the bearing got spun. i was thinking about just having the journal resurfaced and oversizeing the bearing. you guys think that would work. i also dont have the time nor money be pulling the motor. i just spent 1100 to fix the problem and it didnt get fixed so now im down another 300 if my dad cant fix it

Yeah, you definately should pull the motor and put it on a stand to fix the problem.
