help! I fd up, no fuel pump, won't turn over.
I was trying to pull codes with a scan tool i just bought for OBD11 that I thought my 95 t/a had. It's not working. I started messing with the single grey wire on passenger side underhood above wheel well. testing for power with multi-meter. now the car wont turn over and I cannot hear fuel pump. I read a previous thread and they mentioned vats and a resistor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes I guess so
I had talked to a local gm tech. who told me flat out that it is an early version of obd11, even though the veca label states that it complies with obd1 and says nothing about obd11 on the label. He also said that if it has the obd11 16 pin dlc, which my car has, that its obd11. For now I am going to hopfully take the scanner back and concentrate on getting getting the car to run. Thanks for the reply. Your 96 Formula looks sharp.

If it is a problem with the key resisstor when you turn the key to the start possition the security light will come on or flash I belive or maybe it was turn the key to run and if the security light stays on there is a problem. Been several years since I had that happen.
