i have a 96 trans am lt1 , and i went to get up this moring to go to work and my driver side headlight would not come up, and i think its the motor thats messed up. Does anyone know where to get a headlight motor for it , the parts store says they want 249.99 for one , and i was like holy crap thats alot for just a little motor, so anyone have any ideas?

I doubt it's the headlight motor, it's usually the plastic teeth on the gear (inside the housing) that become stripped/worn down. You can pick up a new good for life brass gear with installation kit off of ebay for $40 bucks. Very easy swap takes about 30 minutes tops.
